Stage 01 BIM FundamentalsYour understanding of the basics of BIM and the role of each engineer within the system will significantly influence your decision regarding your specialization. This knowledge will affect how you apply the tools and recognize that BIM encompasses all engineering specializations and departments. You will also learn how to leverage it to benefit your chosen field.
Stage 02 BIM Modeling Specialist
Your understanding and mastery of the model are crucial starting points in BIM modeling, as it is the heart of the project. Therefore, we will apply the tools we learn to multiple projects. The more you understand every detail, the better your approach will be, giving you various solutions to solve problems. This knowledge will make a significant difference in your work. In addition to the Interior Classic Workshop, in which we will learn the details of Model in Place, which is considered one of the most important features of Revit.
Stage 03 Design and Working Project
During this stage, we will go through 3 stages for a complete project:
Modeling Stage: We will start building the entire model from scratch, including doors, windows, walls, and all the details.
Rendering Stage: Once we have completed the entire model, it is important to view it with materials, lighting, and all the details. This will be done in two parts:
We will learn how to create a presentation for the plans and sections, paying attention to the details of the output.
We will learn Enscape, including all its features, and how to render it realistically.
Working Stage: We will begin by extracting the entire project drawing and applying the tools we have learned in a technical manner, so that we can address the issue of extracting the boards that need to remain from AutoCAD and view them more clearly in Revit.
Stage 04 BIM Visualization
The rendering stage is both the most important and the most enjoyable. For this reason, it's essential to carefully choose a program that delivers excellent results while also being easy to work with.
Your strength lies in accurately displaying the model, whether you are an architect or a construction worker. In projects, the owner or engineer always wants to see the model's progress. For this reason, we will explore and master the most important display tools together, focusing on professional techniques using the Twinmotion program.
Stage 05 BIM Department System
We will work on two projects: one focusing on a complete steel structure and the other on a construction project. This will help us understand and manage structural elements, which will make a significant difference in our work. Since working in a technical office requires knowledge across multiple fields, this experience will be invaluable.
Stage 06 Expert In Family
We will explore and dive into the details of Families, which are the foundation of Revit and play a crucial role in shaping the model while saving significant time in the project. We'll learn the secrets of Families and how to create them ourselves, including doors, windows, and many other models that we will apply. Additionally, we'll start a new workshop focused on Curtain Walls, Stairs, and Railings, where we'll cover more details and tricks that will enhance your workflow and efficiency in Revit.
Stage 07 Advanced Modeling
In this stage, we will learn about Massing and address the challenges of creating complex facades that we often encounter in projects. These challenges sometimes lead us to rely on 3Ds Max, which can feel overwhelming. However, we will explore the tools and tricks that enable us to create professional models directly in Revit, allowing us to design any pattern we want with ease.
Stage 08 BIM Interior Design:
We will walk through the complete workflow, starting with the mood board, and learn how to capture all the interior details using Revit. This includes meeting the client’s requirements in the design and progressing to the creation of shop drawings.
Stage 09 Workflow Technical Project Template
We will cover how to organize and prepare your work effectively by creating a custom template in Revit. This template will help you structure your projects, improving efficiency and streamlining your workflow. By setting up a well-organized template, you'll be able to simplify future tasks, making your work much easier and more productive.
Stage 10 Collaboration With Team
One of the key stages in the management area is coordinating a large team in the technical office working on a single project. We will learn how to integrate into a team and collaborate professionally. As an architectural and construction team, we will focus on using Work-Sharing to speed up the creation of drawings and project deliverables, allowing us to work more efficiently and complete projects faster.
Stage 11 Construction BIM workflow project
In this stage, we will explore a new approach to our work by starting with a prepared structural model. We will learn how to extract elements and all necessary details from it, allowing us to complete the architectural work efficiently and effectively.
Stage 12 Coordination With Department
We will conduct a comprehensive application on workflow and collaboration with other departments, focusing on how to identify clashes using the Navisworks program. We'll learn how to link all aspects of the project across departments and extract detailed reports and information from the project to ensure smooth integration and effective communication.
Stage 13 BIM Bill of Quantity
In this stage, we will learn how to perform a quantity takeoff and extract all relevant details for items such as doors, windows, and concrete. A key focus will be on how to export these inventory tables to an Excel sheet, which is an essential step in managing project data effectively.
Stage 14 BIM 4D & 5D Cost estimation
This stage will help you identify scheduling issues with the team, allowing you to recognize delayed items and visualize the construction progress directly within the program. This insight will enable you to make informed decisions for the project. Additionally, the inventory process from the Navisworks program will be organized and differentiated, which is essential in BIM projects to ensure you are working with the standard master format.
Stage 15 Create your Opportunity
After completing all the stages and details of the Architectural BIM Technical System, we will enter a crucial phase aimed at helping you secure the best possible job, whether in Egypt or abroad. This stage focuses on applying everything you've learned professionally, and it emphasizes the importance of creating your opportunity on LinkedIn.
